Senior Creative Designer and Content Producer — Meanjin / Brisbane

I'm a senior creative designer and content producer with over a decade of experience across universities, government, cultural institutions and education technology. I work end-to-end — from brief and concept through art direction, production and supplier coordination to final delivery.
Most of my career has been in-house, as the primary creative voice within organisations where design has to serve many masters at once. That means I'm used to working on work that carries a brand, satisfies an approval chain, meets accessibility requirements, and still lands with the person reading it. I'm comfortable being the person who holds all of that together.
At Griffith University, I've worked across faculties and portfolios in two roles: as a graphic designer producing publications, campaigns, and digital assets, and, currently, on secondment as a video content producer. I established and now govern ten Canva for Teams environments — brand kits, templates, guidelines and training — so that teams across the university can produce brand-aligned content without a designer in the room. I've also produced three videos for the Green Gown Awards, two of which received High Distinction recognition.
Before Griffith, I was the graphic and multimedia designer and photographer at Opera Queensland, and spent three years at Teach Starter designing and illustrating classroom resources at scale.
My work moves between editorial and print, motion and video, illustration, photography and interface design. The common thread is translating complex information into something clear and worth looking at.
I hold a Bachelor of Visual Communication, and I'm currently completing a Master of Design at Griffith University.
