Griffith University Flexible Degree Structure
Explainer animation for the university's new degree format
Griffith University has updated its degree structure to provide a more flexible experience for students. This flexibility enables students to customise their studies according to their individual needs while aligning with market demands.
To visually communicate this structural change, the head of product collaborated with the Content and Creative Services Studio (CCS) to create a clear explainer for both current and prospective students. The video team within CCS drafted an interactive storyboard using Miro, allowing all stakeholders to provide feedback and suggest changes. This iterative approach accelerated the creative process and fostered collaboration.
Once all stakeholders reached an agreement on the storyboard, I began designing the layout and character assets, while Michael started building the animation in After Effects. The project is set to expand to include other degree structures, enabling all students to visualise their degree options and reduce misunderstandings when selecting their study pathways.
